I wish school would’ve been teaching me things that have given me the most headaches. I’m not going to say I was a perfect student just about ever, but I was a fairly good student for the most part. I paid attention to many things that I thought would be relevant in my life. I hardly paid attention in biology, chemistry, and physics classes. Even then, I didn’t do terrible.

How cool would it have been if we had classes to talk about the childhood traumas we’ve gone through and how to cope? What if we had classes on how to deal with relationship issues and what we know about love and cheesy shit like that? Of course, those classes probably would be electives and whatnot, but why not allow us to take those classes if you’re making us take classes on just about anything else.

The older I get, the more I realize that shit like that would’ve been cool to talk through in high school, not only for me but for just about anybody.

Obviously, I haven’t gotten to things like taxes and personal finance. How good would shit like that help the economy? I literally graduated during a damn recession caused by a generation before me that didn’t know how to manage their money or stick to their budget. The generation before me started signing shit about money that they had no idea what the disclosures stated.
