Future Me

Hi. I have a few questions for you to answer when you get a chance to respond. 

What experience do you think made you “feel” the most? I put the word feel into quotation marks because I want you to think about whatever made you feel the happiest, saddest, or maddest. I guess what I’ve learned about us is that I do my best to hide my feelings, and I’ve done that for a very long time. Unfortunately, that has also taken away from you, showing your real happiness. I’ve committed to feeling everything through lately, and I hope that you notice the difference when you look back. There shouldn’t be a reason for hiding from the emotions you have going on at the time. I want the experience of everything and anything. 

Did you love as much as you could? Do you feel you put your everything into everything that you did? Even if it was something temporary, do you think you did everything you could to love it as much as possible? Allow this to serve as the reminder that there should never be a moment you don’t love as much as you can. You’re full of love, and you always used to say that you used to love more before. That shouldn’t be a thing anymore. Your past should never love more than your future. Love never drains; it should only expand and leave room for even more love. Remember that love is a verb, and the more you show it and feel it, the more that will come back across. Life is all about feeling. 

How often have you had to break your word? Is your word still golden? It should be even more golden than it is now. When you say you’re going to do something, it should be one of the only things you focus on. You’ve always made sure that your word has been the final say, but one thing that I want you to consider is that you can be wrong. Keep in mind that just because you said one thing before, doesn’t mean you can’t go back if you’ve learned something different. Learning should be everything, and you should allow yourself the opportunity to go back and note that you’ve learned something different if your original thought was wrong.

These are the first few things I want you to consider when you’re looking back.
