She’s just like lightning.
It doesn’t happen as frequently as I would like.
I’m terrified of it.
I know it’d be so rare to be struck by one.
It wouldn’t happen again.
The chances are small.
But maybe I’m the luckiest guy in the world?
It makes you wonder if lightning could strike twice.
And for me at least, it has.
Lightning sparks.
Lightning can be a part of some of the best pictures you could ever see.
It could make the most boring scene into one of the most amazing ones.
It could terrify the rest of the world.
But to others, it might just be their favorite thing in the world.
I always thought that lightning was one of those things that were a sign of God.
A sign that God was upset with us.
But I’m starting to understand it more and more.
In reality, God isn’t upset.
God is showing off.
God is showing off how lightning could be the most beautiful thing you lay your hands on.
You know, some photographers spend the majority of their career chasing perfect lightning strike photos.
I would assume some never get them.
But here I am.
Having lighting.
Not to be confused with thunder.
Which I always confused it with.
Lightning is different.
Lighting is what I want to spend the rest of my life with.
I’ve never been so scared of something.
But being afraid just means I’m alive.
And if that’s the case, I just want to live.
I’m never going to underappreciated lightning again.
It’s the greatest thing to ever happen to me, and luckily I’ve been struck multiple times.
