The Problem With Fire

Fire can be passion. Fire can be different. Fire can have you feeling dangerous.

The problem with fire is that it will eventually die out if you’re depending on those three things. You can’t rely on only passion to keep any fire going. You need hard work for that. You can’t always count on fire being different because eventually you’ll see similarities between the current fire and the previous fire you were apart of. You’ll eventually stop feeling dangerous with fire because eventually you’ll start noticing patterns or routines. What was once extraordinary, starts to look more and more ordinary and you can’t do anything to stop that in most cases.

I wish I could start to advise how to keep that fire going, but I really have no answers. I think the only thing I’m certain of is that you have to either admit that the fire is gone, or that you have to look for something else to keep you satisfied within whatever it is. Passion is important, probably one of the top things on my list, but it isn’t everything. It’s what you do when you don’t feel the passion or when the passion starts to die off. That move afterwards or the thought process to keep it going is the most important task.
