Hey kids,
I hope this post finds you well! Today was a rough day for me. It sort of pains me to admit it too. Hopefully by the time you see this, that would have changed. I’ve always been the kind of person that needs everyday to be a good day and for the most part that is usually the case. Days like today happen very rarely, but they happen nonetheless. I want you to know on those days you can count on me. It’s all good to have days that suck a little bit. You don’t ever have to compare your day to someone else’s day just to allow yourself to have a sucky day. Just because it can be worse, doesn’t mean you to have to avoid what was sucky about it and face it. At the end of the day, complaining and venting might not make anything better, and we should always be more grateful and try to look at the positive, but I want to always challenge you to identify what the sucky things were and why they make you feel drained. If you can change the outcome do what you can to change your mindset towards it, if you can’t change it, figure out why it made you feel the way you felt and change your mindset afterwards.
It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to embrace your feelings. Avoiding it is just procrastination and not being real, so face it.
Oh, and remember if you need a shoulder, you got me.
love you.
