If you’re wondering what unrequited love is, it’s really just a time when you had strong romantic feelings toward someone, only to find out they do not feel the same way about you. In other words, love that is not rewarded or returned.

Love is complicated as it is, right? There’s that saying that says that if you have chemistry all that you ever really need is timing. What’s worse is the timing being on point, but the chemistry just not being there.

Feeling love for someone who doesn’t feel the same way for you is like handling a glass plate, dropping it on your tile floor, and watching it break down to pieces right in front of you. You try so hard to put it back together like it was and sometimes you can be successful, but it’s a shitty feeling to see it broken in the first place. Worst stomach ache you could ever feel. You can get over it after a little bit of time and it’s obviously a lot easier with some distractions, but it still stings after a while.

I felt love for you, while you only appreciated my effort.
