No, you haven’t hit the jackpot or anything to find out all my little secrets in one blog post or anything, so don’t get all excited just yet. I felt it was as good of an opportunity to share little known facts about me that not many know and that I sometimes forget too.

1. I never had a sleepover as a kid. While I thought it would be cool, it was frowned upon with my parents. I don’t know what I missed out on.

2. I still own the first Easter bunny stuffed animal that was given to me when I was 4 months old. I cherish it along with a stuffed Barney that I used to take everywhere as a kid.

3. I never smiled showing my teeth once I got into middle school. My teeth were all messed up. I had braces throughout all of high school and didn’t get them removed until Senior year. I have about 3 pictures known to me with a smile.

4. I played soccer as a kid for the “Mega-Hurts”. My career as a soccer player is 1W -14L. The only game we won was against girls. To my defense, they were pretty good.

5. I never did my SATs or my ACTs. I was always prepared to go to UNLV and only applied there. My college acceptance rate is 100% though.

6. My first job was at Chuck. E Cheese. My first time wearing the mouse costumer I smiled for every picture. It wasn’t until the last picture that I figured out that nobody could see me under the suit.

7. I used to play the Alto-Saxophone in Junior High. I was actually pretty good and was torn between going to a high school that focused on band or a high school that offered a law program.

8. I was always scared of The Undertaker as a kid. To the point that I would have to leave the room during his entrance music.

9. I was terrified of the scene in, “The Lion King” where Scar kills a mouse in the beginning of the movie.

10. I was never good at 1 player video games. I have no patience.

11. My first album was a two track album of Blink-182 that included, “All The Small Things”. I don’t remember the other song though.

12. My mom made me memorize definitions of words when I had a spelling test. I had to always remember the exact definition of every word.

13. I didn’t learn English until kindergarten. My parents learned with me.

14. In 1st grade, when I was given a journal to do our work, I would use it as a diary and talk about my day and what I was thinking.

15. I hate losing. I’m so competitive that if I ever lose, I will practice until I can get a rematch. In an obsessive manner too.

16. I have a scar on my head from when I was in the 4th grade. I got hit by a door so hard that it busted my head open.

17. When I find a song I like, I repeat until I learn the lyrics to each of it. I can’t get over that. Then I ultimately can’t listen to it for a few weeks.

18. I am not very good at drawing. I’ve been holding off on practicing.

19. I used to talk to my dog when I was a kid and would ask him to give me his right or left hand to determine the answer to my situation.

20. I got caught cheating in school once and my teacher was really surprised when I didn’t try and lie about it. We are now friends.
